To celebrate the Sustainability in Yarra Project, Holden Street Neighbourhood House is hosting a ‘Swap Meet’. We hope to offer our community a safe space to share their excess clothes, fashion accessories and shoes, and take home some ‘new’ items for themselves FOR FREE! This event is open to everyone and anyone to come and refresh their wardrobe.

The aim of the Swap Meet is to promote the idea of a 'circular economy' and prevent items from going to landfill unnecessarily. Items that have been grown out of or are not of use to you, could become someone else's favourite new thing!

Donations can be dropped off to the House from Tuesday March 14th until Thursday March 23rd during our House opening hours (Monday- Thursdays 9am - 5.30pm). Please ensure any donated items are clean and in good condition. We can accept clothing (excluding underwear & swimwear), shoes & fashion accessories (eg bags, jewelry, belts, etc).

The Swap Meet event will take place on the 25th of March from 10am-2pm. Everyone is Welcome!
