Holden Street Neighbourhood House is situated in a heritage area with adjacent parklands and children's park. Whether it’s a birthday party, community group activity or meeting, a business forum or private function, we have a space for you! The House is wheelchair accessible and has close access to public transport, free on-street parking and bike paths. The childproof gated garden areas add another special feature to the property, as well as private access to the neighbouring park and playground. Be sure to get in fast as dates do book out quickly!

Our Spaces

  • Multipurpose Room

    Our Multipurpose room is the ideal space for a larger gathering, whether that be a Birthday Party, Event, Conference or a Class/Program. This space can easily cater for 40 seated guests. This space connects directly to our beautiful rear garden and play space. When hiring this space you have access to our tables & chairs, fully equipped kitchen (including all kitchen items- plates, glasses, cutlery etc), bathrooms and outdoor spaces.

  • Private Office

    This office space is situated at the rear of our property and overlooks the beautiful back garden. The office has 4 monitors available and 2 designated desk areas. Access to a private entrance for the office is available 24/7. We welcome both regular bookings of the space and one-off bookings. Hirers of the space have access to the House wifi, communal kitchen and bathrooms.

  • Meeting Room

    Our meeting room comprises of 2 detachable tables and 8 ergonomic office chairs, perfect for a meeting, training space or private work area. The space includes a whiteboard, printer and a HDMI connectable screen for computer presentations.

  • Student Room

    Our Student Room is perfect for classes, training sessions and meetings. The space offers lots of natural light, with ample room for 15 people. There is a large projector available for use by hirers of this space. The room can also be opened up to extend into our dining area, which can increase the usable space for groups.

  • Zen Den

    The perfect space to use as a retreat or meeting area for small groups. Comfortably fits 8 people.

  • Social Hub (Undercover BBQ)

    Holden Street's newest feature, the Social Hub, is a beautiful undercover BBQ area with lighting, making it perfect for any time of day! Whether you're seeking a cozy shaded spot, hosting a program, or planning a BBQ gathering, this space is the ideal setting for all kinds of activities!

Hosting a gathering? Holden Street Neighbourhood House offers a fantastic solution! Our bright and spacious Multipurpose Room seamlessly connects with a beautiful Backyard and undercover BBQ area, creating a unique indoor/outdoor venue perfect for your next function.

Whether it's a birthday bash, family reunion, or friendly get-together, we cater to your needs. Choose your ideal time slot on Saturdays or Sundays, from 9am-1pm or 2pm-6pm, with ample time within the 4-hour booking for setup and pack down. If you're wanting a longer event, please contact us to discuss additional hour availability and costs.

Enjoy the convenience of our fully equipped kitchen featuring an oven, stove, fridge, and microwave – all included in your hire! Our Multipurpose Room comfortably accommodates up to 50 guests, with the option to hire additional spaces if your party is a little larger. Our new Social Hub undercover BBQ area is also available to hire for a nominal fee in addition to an event booking.

We're committed to sustainability, so we offer reusable supplies like plastic bowls, cups, platters, plates, and glasses to help minimise waste at your event.
