Talking Sense

Come along and hear speakers on a range of topics followed by discussion. Topics may include health, ageing, and current affairs. Light refreshment provided.

This class will focus on cooking nutritious meals on a budget using seasonal produce and/or fruit and vegetables that are New sign “less than perfect”. You wil learn how to shop within a budget, prepare and cook meals, and store food safely. The course is designed by Cohealth Dietitian. Priority given for residents of social housing.

Repair and Share

Enjoy an afternoon of learning and sharing skills while recycling and reducing waste and household expenses. Bring your broken items for repair, learn how from skilled volunteers. No items to be repaired? Come along and enjoy a cuppa, or lend a hand with someone else’s repair job.

Sing-a-long with Ruth

New sign Why do so many of us stop singing as we get older? You don’t have to be an expert to join in. Come along to have fun, laugh, smile, stretch your vocal chords and feel great! Join in to sing some old favourites in a range of different styles. There is nothing like a singing together to get that uplifting feeling.

Moving Meditation

Moving Meditation sessions are multi-sensory. Various tools are used to stimulate and balance the senses. These include massage, breathing, movement, aromatherapy and sound healing.
